Civitavecchia is more than a point-to-point transfer. We arrange direct port transportation, a private Civitavecchia Shore Excursion, pre- and post-cruise Rome experiences and longer routes to other Italian destinations.
The published cruise experiences use a Mercedes-Benz V-Class. A port-to-Rome-to-port Civitavecchia Shore Excursion is EUR 1,100. FCO-to-Rome-to-Civitavecchia is also EUR 1,100. A Rome-hotel pre-cruise experience or Civitavecchia-to-Rome-hotel post-cruise experience is EUR 900.
The earliest ship, flight or port-arrival deadline controls the usable sightseeing time. On an FCO pre-cruise service, a delayed flight or slower airport exit shortens the Rome portion; the confirmed port-arrival time and total price remain unchanged.

Planning the service
Can you transfer us from Civitavecchia to a Rome hotel?
Yes. A direct transfer is available, or the published EUR 900 post-cruise experience combines port pickup, approximately five sightseeing hours in Rome and hotel drop-off.
Can the vehicle collect us beside the ship?
The exact meeting point depends on current port procedures and vehicle permissions. We confirm the permitted arrangement before the service.
What happens if our flight into FCO is delayed?
We monitor the confirmed flight and include up to 60 minutes from its scheduled arrival time. If the delay exceeds that allowance, continued service is subject to chauffeur availability and additional waiting charges. When the service can continue, the Rome portion becomes shorter because the agreed Civitavecchia arrival time remains fixed; the price does not decrease and the route may become direct to protect embarkation.
How does a pre- or post-cruise tour differ from Civitavecchia Shore Excursion?
Civitavecchia Shore Excursion returns to the ship and is planned around the all-aboard deadline. A pre- or post-cruise experience begins or ends at the port, with luggage remaining in the vehicle and the final hotel, airport or embarkation deadline controlling the route.
Can you transfer us from Civitavecchia to Florence, Naples or the Amalfi area?
Yes, subject to date, vehicle and route availability. The service can be direct or include a prearranged sightseeing stop, with the complete duration and price confirmed in writing.
