Places worth knowing. Stories worth following.

Look a little closer. These places, traditions and flavors can be the beginning of your next Italian journey—or simply a reason to keep exploring.

Pienza & Val d’Orcia

Arrive for the hills, then step into the smaller world of Pienza. Around Piazza Pio II, the Renaissance town brings pale stone, harmonious architecture and lanes that invite a slower walk. Beyond it, Val d’Orcia opens again into fields, cypresses and distant villages. This is a lovely starting point for a day led by views and food: perhaps a village stroll followed by lunch, with pecorino or pici among the local flavors to ask about. The route leaves space for the experience you choose.

Montalcino

Montalcino invites you uphill, through a medieval centre where the fortress and Piazza del Popolo give the town its character. The countryside beyond the rooftops is part of the story in the glass. Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino both begin with Sangiovese, offering different ways to explore this place through wine. A private journey can give the town a proper place alongside one carefully chosen tasting, with time for questions and lunch. The producer and appointment are selected for your interests and confirmed before booking.

Chianti

Chianti unfolds through vineyards, woods and olive groves, with small towns breaking the journey along the way. Greve, Radda and Castellina offer different starting points for exploring the Chianti Classico area between Florence and Siena. Choose a village and let a winery appointment or a long lunch set the pace of the rest of the day. There is pleasure in the road itself, and in arriving with time to enjoy the place. We plan Chianti as its own area, with travel arrangements matched to your starting point.

Shape your private day

Choose your focus: the medieval walls of Monteriggioni and the stone streets of Volterra, Siena and San Gimignano, the landscapes around Pienza, or a wine-led day in Montalcino, Montepulciano or Chianti. Share your dates, group size and pickup address. For travel from Rome, we confirm driving time, a focused route and return arrangements before quoting. Each area deserves its own considered itinerary; meals, tastings, admissions and any local guide are identified separately in the proposal.
