A sightseeing transfer combines door-to-door private transportation with a prearranged visit along the route. Guests leave their Rome hotel with their luggage, enjoy approximately two hours in a selected town or archaeological site and continue in the same vehicle to the next hotel, villa, port or airport.

This is a premium service, not a complimentary stop added to a direct transfer. The quotation reflects the longer chauffeur duty, route deviation, waiting time, parking, vehicle and any requested guide, admission or tasting arrangements.

How it works

From request to arrival

  1. Tell us the starting address, final destination, travel date, party size and luggage.
  2. Choose a suggested stop or ask for a route-specific recommendation.
  3. We confirm the realistic stop duration, total journey time, vehicle and separate premium quotation.
  4. The chauffeur keeps the luggage in the vehicle while the guests visit, then continues to the final address.

Planning the service

Does the sightseeing stop cost more than a direct transfer?

Yes. It is a longer premium service with additional chauffeur time, waiting, parking and sometimes a route deviation. The complete cost is confirmed in a separate written quotation.

What happens to our luggage during the visit?

The luggage remains in the confirmed vehicle. Send the number and approximate size of the bags so we can select a vehicle with suitable capacity.

Can we stay longer than two hours?

A longer visit can be requested in advance and will change the quotation. Extra time on the service day is subject to chauffeur availability and an additional hourly charge.

Can the route be arranged in the opposite direction?

Usually yes. The timing is recalculated around the pickup point, final destination, planned stop and any flight, ship or check-in deadline.
