Listen before you look: in Rasiglia, running water sets the pace.
Discover the details
Listen before you look: in Rasiglia, running water sets the pace. Follow the channels from one small bridge to another, pausing beside clear pools and cascades between stone houses. The Capovena spring feeds this network, gathering in the Peschiera before the water continues toward the Menotre. Its beauty has a working history: water once drove grain mills and wool production. Take time to notice the sluices, reflections and details that bring that story into view.
Look for channels, small bridges and the Peschiera, then discover how water supported the village’s mills and textile crafts.
A resident host may be requested in advance. A licensed guide is a separate service; workshop interiors are included only if expressly confirmed.
Trevi is the moment the landscape opens up. Its stone streets climb toward Sant’Emiliano, while the valley below is patterned with olive trees. Follow a short historic walk at your own pace, look for a quiet corner and allow time for the view. Villa Fabri’s terraces offer another way to read this landscape; a visit can be considered when access and the day’s timing allow. The Olive Tree and Olive Oil Museum adds the tools, traditions and human stories behind the view.
Choose a manageable walk through the historic centre and the Sant’Emiliano area, with time to enjoy the olive-covered valley.
Villa Fabri or the Olive Tree and Olive Oil Museum can be considered according to opening, access and the agreed time. Any admissions are separate.
Start with something simple: good bread and local extra-virgin olive oil.
Discover the details
Start with something simple: good bread and local extra-virgin olive oil. Ask about seasonal vegetables, regional cheeses or a truffle pasta when available. In autumn, Trevi’s black celery gives the area another distinctive flavor. Choose a lunch that suits your tastes and dietary needs, or ask us to fit an oil tasting into the Trevi stop. The venue, menu and any producer appointment are selected with you and quoted separately.
Build lunch around your tastes, dietary needs and what is in season. Local olive oil, cheeses, vegetables and truffle dishes are possible inspirations.
An optional oil tasting uses time within the Trevi stop. It is confirmed and quoted separately, with departure for Rome planned at 14:45.
Rasiglia and Trevi reveal two very different faces of Umbria. In the morning, follow a village shaped by spring water, where channels slip between stone houses and the history of mills and weaving is still part of the landscape. Later, the view opens above the valley around Trevi: pale stone, hillside streets and the silver-green of olive trees. Leave room for lunch and for the small discoveries that make a place memorable—a bridge reflected in clear water, a doorway, a view you want to keep.
